Again, debate about one vs. the other if you must, but this is just a solid show that is worth a listen regardless of the source. Plus, it is a much better mix than the 10/27/79 CC from earlier. Like it? Great. Don't like it, just move on my friend, just move on.

I love the way you word things so that people who agree with you will feel like your best buddy, whereas those who don't will feel like unmitigated lowlifes and churls. Kudos, kaptain.

I also, it has to be said, applaud your occasional lapses into good taste, musically speaking. But not this time.

Lapses in good taste?

Be sure, sir, that your very place in my circle of trust is now very tenous at best. I suggest toning down the rancor and ill-will laden utterances in order to retain your seat at the Kaptain's table.

Anyway, you can take it.

"Lapses into good taste" only indicates that I spend much of my time dallying in the arena of bad taste.

You, sir, are out of the circle.

(First person to come back with "Is that the same as being out of your hollow?" gets the stink finger)

Whew. I thought I'd never break free of your Machiavellian malignities, you fiend of darkness.

(By the way, where do you put your finger to make it so stinky?)

Did not want to get out of bed this AM. That game just killed me. Pierce has yet to earn the "Mr. Clutch" moniker. Two chances to win it, two bricks. They are saying how great this series is; sorry, but I just don't see it that way. What I see is two mediocre teams who are matched perfectly in their mundane-ness (a word? maybe not, but it fits). Reminds me of the fights in Dumb and Dumber.

i think your analysis of the series is spot-on my friend. I only saw the "first brick" last night before calling it an evening. total breakdown in playcalling and he didnt even appear to be looking to make a play (atleast seeing live and no replay)

i am psyched for the start of the Bruins/Hurricans series!! Should be a good one with the B's taking it in 5 (though 6 would not be surprising at all)

Yep. I have waited many years for the B's to get back on track. Only negative is that I'm limited in what games I can see by what the Versus network picks as the game of the night. They better make it all the way to the finals, then I'll get to see ALL the games.

How about this for a good ol'fashioned hijack. Self-imposed, no less.

Philly fans can't have short memories or we would never know that our teams ever won anything.

Phillies 2008 (finally, before that 1980 and now they are tied with the Marlins for World Series victories)

Eagles 1960
Flyers 1975
Sixers 1983

Therefore I believe your comment is inaccurate and to that I say "Boooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!"

Yes they won a championship last year and looked amazing doing it. But without Garnett, they have lost that spark. Yes, Rondo has his moments of greatness, but also moments of inexcusable ineptness. Ray Allen and Big Baby are really the standouts. But what the hell happened to the bench? Be nice if they showed up one night, just for fun.
